-Electrolytes are those substances which on dissohving in H2O produces ions in the solution.
The conduction of electricity through solution of electrolyte is knows as electrolytic or Ionic conductance. It is due to the movement of the ions which carry the current.

STRONG ELECTROLYTES: When dissolved in H2O dissociate completely into ions.
Substances with law degree of dissociation are called weak                                                                       electrolytes.
The conductivity of electro lytium solution is depends upon-
-Nature of electrolyte.
-Concentration electrolyte.
-Size of the ions produces and their solvation.
-Nature of the solvent and its viscosity.
-Temperature.

The resistance (R) offered by an electrolytic solution to the passage of e.current is-
-directly proportional to it's length 'l'
-inversly proportional to the area of the cross-section A of the e.

MOLAR CONDUCTIVITY:It is the conducting power of the all ions produced by 1 mole of an electrolyte in a given solution. It may be defnied as the conductivity of that vol.of the solution.Which contains 1 mole of the electrolyte and is placed between two electrocle unite distance a part and having sufficient cross-section area to hold the whole of the solution.
